CIB Operations - Equities (Stock Borrow Loans and Prime) Trading Assistant - Associate

Job Responsibilities:

  • Trade capture and booking of Stock Borrow and Loan trades, Equity Swap (TRS, PR), OTC & Stocks, Pnotes, Interest Rate Swaps, FX Spot & Forward, Convertible Bonds, ETF and listed securities and F&O hedges
  • Trade lifecycle management including Corporate Action adjustments for all SBL, listed, OTC, and Equity Swap.
  • Collateral management, daily mark to market and monitoring of financing basket exposures
  • Send pledges and recalls requests to counterparties
  • Avoidance of buy-ins and constant monitoring of fails management
  • Billings and fee payment processing
  • Equilend break management
  • Account maintenance for new and existing clients and SSIs setup
  • MIS reporting
  • Assist and support traders and marketers and clients through their daily queries
  • Ensure traders are compliant with rules and regulations in various local jurisdictions
  • Continuous project work involving process improvement, system implementation, new product or new market rollouts.

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, ideally as a Trading Assistant/Trade Support
  • Previous exposure to equity and equity derivative products including equity swap, SBL, ETF, Listed product and FX/NDF is highly regarded.
  • Experience in supporting equity derivative sales, trading, and structuring front office is beneficial.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office and the ability to pick up complex systems architecture easily. Knowledge of VBA / SQL and experience with digital tools such as Xceptor, Alteryx, Tableau, Robotics, etc. would be an asset.
  • Mathematics, Finance or Science background preferred
