CIB Operations - Equity Derivatives Trade Support - Associate

Job Responsibilities:

  • Trade capture and booking of OTC & listed derivative transactions, equity swaps, FX & interest rate derivatives, issuance of securitized derivatives, and listed securities, ETFs, and F&O hedges.
  • Trade lifecycle management for all listed, OTC, and securitized derivative products including reset & fixing events, coupon observation, barrier monitoring, and physical settlement of structured products.
  • Assist in risk management in ensuring pricing for derivative instruments are correctly captured and risk profiles are correct as per trading and sales expectations
  • Assist in inventory management and alert trading desk and marketing desk when inventory may be insufficient
  • Ensure traders and marketers are in compliance with rules and regulations in various local jurisdictions
  • Continuous project work involving process improvement, system implementation, new product or new market rollouts

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Trading Assistant/Trade Support
  • Previous exposure to equity and equity derivative products including equity swaps, equity options, ETFs, listed futures & options, warrants/CBBCs, FX/NDF, IRS, volatility/variance swaps, accumulator/decumulators, range accruals, ELNs, ELIs would be useful.
  • Experience in supporting equity derivative sales, trading, and structuring front office is beneficial.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office and the ability to pick up complex systems architecture easily. Knowledge of VBA / SQL and experience with digital tools such as Xceptor, Alteryx, Tableau, Robotics, etc. would be an asset.
