CIB Operations - Equity Prime Trading Assistant - Associate

Job Responsibilities:
  • Trade capture and booking of Equity Swap (TRS, PR), OTC & Stocks, Pnotes, Interest Rate Swaps, FX Spot & Forward, Convertible Bonds, ETF and listed securities, F&O hedges and Stock Borrow Loans.
  • Trade lifecycle management including Corporate Action adjustments for all listed, OTC, and Equity Swap.
  • Assist in risk management in ensuring pricing for derivative instruments are correctly captured and risk profiles are correct as per trading and sales expectations.
  • Assist and support traders and marketers and clients through their daily queries.
  • Ensure traders and marketers are in compliance with rules and regulations in various local jurisdictions
  • Continuous project work involving process improvement, system implementation, new product or new market rollouts

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, ideally as a Trading Assistant/Trade Support
  • Previous exposure to equity and equity derivative products including equity swap, ETF, Listed product and FX/NDF is highly regarded.
  • Experience in supporting equity derivative sales, trading, and structuring front office is beneficial.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office and the ability to pick up complex systems architecture easily. Knowledge of VBA / SQL and experience with digital tools such as Xceptor, Alteryx, Tableau, Robotics, etc. would be an asset.
  • Mathematics, Finance or Science background preferred
