CIB Operations - Prime Middle Office - Asset Servicing Client Services - Vice President

Responsibilities:
  • Management and oversight of all corporate action events are accurately reported to clients with the correct terms and response deadlines in line with global SLAs
  • Reminding clients of upcoming deadlines where they are yet to respond to a corporate action event
  • Answering 100% of queries within 30 minutes of receipt to ensure the highest level of service
  • Partnering with other Operational teams internally to ensure the smooth processing of any bespoke event requirements to minimize the impact on clients
  • Acting as an escalation point for any high risk corporate action events
  • Liaising with clients to explain complex/technical mechanics involved in a corporate action
  • Proactively identifying & resolving processing model gaps & inefficiencies whilst ensuring a globally consistent operating model
  • Ad hoc project work
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Good understanding of derivatives regulatory knowledge is an advantage
  • Working understanding of Equities, Bonds, and Swap products; and their relevant process flows is a necessity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with marketers, external clients, traders and other support teams
  • Must be a self-starter with the motivation, demonstration of initiative, and ownership mentality to think outside of the box as necessary
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to take ownership and responsibility
  • Skillset to properly escalate issues to management, controls team and front office sales and trading teams.
  • Team Player, but also must be able to work independently
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Positive "Can Do" attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to drive and manage global initiatives and projects driven by the business, industry or operations
  • Strong communication skills required for quarterly review meetings with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to understand the external client's perspective when applying solutions
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Creative problem solving with a focus on improving / maintaining client relationships
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Must have strong PC skills with particular emphasis on Microsoft excel, formula construction, and excel reconciliation solutions
