CIB Operations - Securities Services - Transfer Agency Manager - Associate - Hong Kong

Key Responsibilities :

Oversight of Transfer Agency teams in Asia, managing dealing activities for Cayman, Luxembourg and Irish domiciled funds distributed in Asia

  • Ensure all dealing instructions are processed timely and accurately in accordance with client SLA including internal/external control requirements
  • Act as escalation point for dealing activities and trade investigation
  • Coordinate with global partners in project management and implementation
  • Manage team in the monitoring of investor queries and related KPIs
  • Perform regular governance reviews with outsourced activities in region
  • Partner with global stakeholders to continue building a scalable and automated product solution for our business
  • Engage with clients to build relationship and continue enhancing our product suite in the region

Drive account opening processes in the validation of AML/KYC documentation on behalf of client fund promoters

  • Experience in managing review and validation processes for AML/KYC documentation specific to Cayman, Luxembourg and Irish domiciled fund products
  • Understanding of AML/KYC regulatory requirements including Financial Crimes prevention relevant to fund regulations
  • Strong control and regulatory mindset in managing internal processes and adherence to client SLA
  • Take ownership in the tracking and follow up of outstanding AML/KYC documentation from investor
  • Manage the team to ensure timely response to client queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure internal controls and procedures are up to date and compliant with required internal policies/regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work with global senior stakeholders for any compliance and client escalation issues

Qualifications :

  • 5-10 years of experience in Transfer Agency roles within the Luxembourg and Dublin Fund Industry - local Asia distribution experience will be an advantage
  • Proven experience in managing internal and external clients at senior level will be essential
  • Staff management experience and history of building a team in Asia
  • Asian and European fund distribution experience and related knowledge in AML rules and regulations - including Cayman, Irish and Luxembourg circulars and laws issued by the relevant regulators
  • Strong control experience and track record on project implementation
  • Ability to work in partnership with clients, Investors and internal teams.

Language Requirements :

Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin - Business spoken and written
