J.P. Morgan CIB deals with over 900 Execution Venues globally encompassing all Asset classes and Venue types. This role reports into the Trading Venue Management function based in London which was established to act as the first line of defence in handling relationships between J.P Morgan CIB and its Execution venues, while also challenging expense profile at venues. The team, which is based across APAC, NAM and EMEA partners with the Front Office, Operations, Technology, Sourcing, Finance, and other Key Stakeholders to manage day-to-day issues arising from our venue interactions, mapping out the landscape for the LoB's on current and emerging trends and ensuring the smooth onboarding, management, and due diligence of Execution venues across CIB Markets.
The role will also involve extremely close collaboration with the Expense Management Unit in India and Bournemouth and the Execution Cost Infrastructure group who are developing strategic trade calculation tools to enable intra-month accurate cost analysis on execution venue charges. These developments will enable the group to challenge the expense profile of our Trading Venues while ensuring access to liquidity for CIB is not compromised.
Trade Venue Management will look at all areas of Trading Expenses including supply management, demand management, expense reporting, analysis and control with strategic MIS and data transparency a key deliverable.
The role will also involve close collaboration within global Trade Venues Team (NAM, EMEA and APAC) to ensure the groups over arching expense reductions targets are being met, best practices are shared, and common issues are tackled collectively.
