CIB - Securities Services - Fund Services Product Manager - ED

The Fund Services product team support over 90 clients in Asia Pacific including central banks, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance companies, banks and investment managers, offering accounting, compliance reporting, performance measurement, risk reporting and other administration services.



Product Management

  • Accountable for the fund services products in the region with a primary focus on fund accounting, and act as point of contact and partner to Sales, Relationship Management, Client Services and Operation for our clients.
  • Define regional fund accounting product strategy and ensure alignment with regional and global business strategy and overall custody & fund services product strategy.
  • Provide regional governance of fund accounting products, including management of service change requests, product development, and oversight of product delivery and operational management.
  • Maintain product collaterals including product definition, product slip sheet and RFP responses, legal agreement, and service level document.

Business Growth
  • Represent fund services product team to provide sales support in sales pitch, RFP responses, and negotiation of product offering with prospective clients.
  • Provide subject matter expertise with respect to the fund services products, with understanding of the business and operating models for each of the product components and how the clients utilize these services.
  • Review and manage product pricing, operation cost-to-serve, and deal profitability.

Product Development

  • Gather market intelligence, including regulatory developments, changes to industry practice, and trends of client needs and competitive landscape.
  • Identify product differentiation opportunities based on product strategy, client feedbacks and market intelligence; define and execute product development plan through partnership with Product Development, Operation, Technology, and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with regional and global project teams on the implementation of strategic accounting platform, provide business objectives and priorities, product requirements, SME supports as necessary, and act as point of escalation for the regional project team.


  • 10+ years in custody industry particularly fund services areas
  • 5+ years in client facing or product management roles
  • Hands-on experience with fund accounting and relevant topics such as IFRS, unit trust/mutual fund accounting, and financial reporting
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
