CIB Social Media Marketing and Communications Analyst

We are looking for an energetic and motivated social media marketer and communicator with a proven ability to produce high-quality content to join our Marketing and Communications team, which supports our Corporate & Investment Bank business in Asia Pacific. The role is based in Hong Kong and works closely with stakeholders across the firm.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualize and execute social media strategies and initiatives that are aligned with franchise and business objectives.
  • Develop high-quality and compelling content for a range of different social media channels and platforms, with an emphasis on WeChat.
  • Support the firm's strategic approach to social media content that aligns with the global J.P. Morgan brand, and is adapted and customized to meet the regional business needs, culture, trends and social platform.
  • Manage and draft editorial content calendars for social media campaigns and channels
  • Support the J.P. Morgan CIB Marketing and Communications team in community management
  • Providing insightful, timely advice and guidance on all social media matters.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and controls to mitigate risk and ensure proper governance
  • Monitor brand mentions, escalating reputational issues as necessary
  • Understand social media metrics in order to track results and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Effectively communicate on project timeline, status and results

  • Passion for social media, PR and digital marketing
  • Creative thinking, innovative ideas and a solutions provider
  • Experience producing impactful social media content
  • Experience executing paid social media campaigns
  • Strong track record of managing brand social media accounts, including WeChat
  • Experience with social media monitoring and management tools for social listening, publishing, and reporting. (i.e. Sprinklr, Newrank, Twitter Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate relationships in the firm across markets, lines of business and corporate functions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Team player with enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. Eager to learn, contribute, and make an impact.

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English required
  • Required to know both traditional and simplified Chinese
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, excel, Powerpoint)
  • Adobe creative suite proficiency and design knowledge strongly preferred
