Hang Seng’s Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.  

For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services.  As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.  

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Client Implementation Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Within the line of reporting under GTRF Product Management, the role holder is responsible for leading and driving delivery of client implementation programs as part of the end-to-end client execution and transaction fulfilment lifecycle. 
  • The tasks for this role include the following:
  • Manage the end-to-end client implementation process. Provide a positive and professional on-boarding experience for customer
  • Develop a close relationship with customers, from managing the relationships and client expectations, implementation/on-boarding to go-live and migration to Client Services day-to-day ownership
  • Ensure business relationships for complex, high-value clients are managed to successful completion to achieve total customer satisfaction while delivering fair customer outcomes.
  • Build and manage relationships with key service providers, internally and externally.  Work closely with colleagues across the bank, including Trade Sales, Services and Regional Client Implementation team, to provide support on deals and align with business objectives regarding the implementation of SCF / other digital initiatives
  • Ensure Credit/Risk considerations, KYC (Know Your Customer) and other procedures/guidelines are adhered to
  • Leverage client feedback to shape client proposition and new product development activity regarding SCF and digital solutions
  • Assist product and proposition initiatives within the wider product management function


  • Being proactive and a strong driver who can actively and effectively engage with different stakeholders within and outside the bank to address customer requests and queries
  • Customer oriented and to embrace and uphold the importance of service excellence along the client implementation process
  • Attention to details and the ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify, escalate, and resolve issues with proposed solutions to relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to appreciate the application of technology in relation to GTRF, to build strong networks with key stakeholders and to be seen as a key influencer
  • Possessing an intermediate level of trade-finance knowledge.  Previous experience in Trade / Supply Chain Finance / Receivables Finance is preferred
