Client Onboarding Officer (until Dec 2018)

One of our top tier investment-banking clients is seeking for a Client Onboarding Officer until Dec 2018. Contract extension is subject to the business need and candidate performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for client communications and query management and verification of client data
  • Responsible to create, validate and classify client for FATCA
  • Compare KYC related data with FATCA documents and escalate if any discrepancies found
  • Verify FATCA documentation of the Clients to be adopted/reviewed
  • Handle all customer- and contract related processes regarding request, verification and modifications
  • Manage New Client Adoption or Periodic Review stream, to ensure that all requests are approved in accordance with regulatory requirements and the bank's internal policies
  • Prepare team members for Audit and ensure process readiness for Audits (Update KOP's)
  • Liaise with FATCA programme team to share any risks/ issues and involve in planning risk mitigations/ workarounds.

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder with minimum 3 years of experience (AML/KYC/Compliance related
  • Experience in Client Onboarding, particularly specializing in Corporate financial services industry
  • Knowledge in interpreting regulatory guidelines and assessing risk scores and entity types
  • Good communication and client servicing skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese (both spoken and written) and Mandarin
  • Initiative, independent and able to multi-tasking
