College Lecturer/Assistant College Lecturer

The appointee is expected to (a) teach courses on Contemporary English, English Grammar or related courses; (b) supervise students in practicum/fieldwork/internship/research projects; (c) provide academic guidance and consultation for students; (d) perform the duties of planning, development and review of teaching materials and curriculum; (e) engage in programme development and management; (f) assist in programme review and accreditation exercises; and (g) perform other programme related duties including programme promotion for admission, coordination of student activities, etc.
Applicants should have a first and a Master’s degree or above in English Language (a doctorate degree will definitely be an added advantage) and relevant teaching experience at tertiary education sector. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the post of College Lecturer.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity. Appointment will be made on fixed-term contract, which will be renewable subject to mutual agreement.
