We are currently seeking passionate individuals to apply for the following position: Reporting to Communications Manager, the incumbent plan and execute communication projects based on Orbis’s development objectives and communications plan to actively engage individuals and community groups, such as residents' associations, parents' groups and young people.

Plan and implement public education activities/events to promote Orbis messages through community engagement
Identify opportunities for talks/workshops/exhibitions and solicit non-traditional outreach venues such as community centres/churches
Work closely with internal teams. Cultivate and build a network of relationships with government departments, professional organizations, community supporters and volunteers to spread Orbis messages
Generate Orbis content through multiple digital tools and resources to meet the needs of community groups
Assist Director, Communications and Communications Manager to develop different communications material and related media activities
Provide team support and ad hoc communications work when required


2 years (possibility of contract renewal)


University degree majoring in language, communication or media-related field
Minimum one year experience in PR, event management and/or agency related field
Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation
Quick in thinking and response, proactive and creative
Attention to detail, excellent time management, leadership skills, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of MS office applications, photoshop and video editing
