Job Summary

  • Responsible for assisting the Director of Communications for generating publicity of the hotel property.
  • To draft press releases and draft copy for all marketing collaterals
  • To handle press enquiries
  • Assist the Director of Communications in handling all departmental operations and execution of promotion or brand campaigns
  • Assist in developing effective marketing communications strategies and plan to achieve company’s objectives and enhance its brand propositions
  • Assist in handling issues and crisis
  • Experience in handling enquiries and able to juggle deadlines and priorities; assist in handling marketing and communications materials
  • Good leadership and able to work as a team player to support all marketing communication activities
  • Responsible for organizing all press clippings and compile monthly status report on publicity generated from Chinese and English media

Requirements

  • Degree holder, preferred in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Hotel Management disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Communications / Marketing Communications, either in-house or agency, 5-star hotel experience is a plus
  • Experience in copywriting, drafting press release, handling press enquiries and press pitching with media (online / offline) connection
  • Good leadership and able to work as a team player to support all marketing communication activities
  • Pleasant personality with good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, friendly, self-motivated, reliable and thoughtful
  • Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese
