Job responsibilities:

  • Regulatory circulars: responsible for handling of all circulars received from regulators and industry bodies. This involves interpreting/ summarizing the impact on the company, involving/ following up with relevant functions, and logging this in tracking systems.
  • Compliance reporting: prepare the compliance deck that is tabled at the company's Risk & Capital Committee and Board of Directors' meetings. This will be done directly under the supervision of the Head of Compliance.
  • Regulatory filings: track the timely completion of regulatory filings to the
  • HKIA and BMA on the designated SharePoint site. Escalate where necessary.
  • Compliance training: follow up on compliance training with relevant staff.
  • Support the promotion of a healthy compliance culture in line with Aegon's Compliance Charter in close collaboration with the wider Compliance team based in Hong Kong and Singapore.
  • Handle other compliance matters as and when requested

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-5 years' experience in Compliance (preferred), or other 2nd line functions within the financial services sector.
  • Desired: High-Net-Worth customer experience.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered.
  • Bachelor degree majoring in Accounting, Finance or Law.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and programs.
