Our Team

The APAC Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Business Management team supports the APAC Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Management team in the delivery of CCOR's strategic objectives.

As an Associate in the team you will take responsibility for key projects and initiatives, working closely with global partners and APAC stakeholders in CCOR, as well as key Corporate functions (e.g. Finance, HR, Technology, Real Estate, Resiliency etc.). The role presents an excellent opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders and gain insight into the management of CCOR in a complex global financial institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key global / regional initiatives and projects that impact the department, including implementation of the Return to the Office strategy, business resiliency planning, inter-affiliate services management, records management, strategic projects planning, and innovation agenda roll out
  • Provide close and continuous support to the APAC CCOR Senior Management to ensure prioritization and achievement of strategic objectives, including managing meetings, drafting communications, and preparing presentation materials
  • Produce management information ("MI") to ensure that department resources are utilised effectively and to facilitate management decisions on budget and headcount
  • Centrally manage information flows for key issues and escalations and prepare reports for governance and oversight forums (global / regional committees, boards, Regulatory, Business Control Committees / Forums)
  • Lead, develop and implement key business initiatives through cross-function partnerships

  • Strong project management skills - the ability to plan project timeline, communicate requirements to stakeholders, feedback regional comments to global counterparts, provide regular management updates, ensure execution according to schedule, and flexible to adjustments in the project timeline or requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - the ability to edit information accurately and succinctly for senior management; able to articulate initiatives and issues well
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgment - the ability to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
  • Strong problem-solving skills - the ability to assess complex organizational objectives, diagnose problems and prioritize efforts, taking ownership to solve them
  • Strong team player - culturally sensitive with the ability to work effectively among different countries and regions; a collaborative style and the ability to partner with people across a diverse and global organization
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Mature, highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership and is able to work independently
  • Flexible and responsive to requests from fast-paced environment; capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing dynamically
  • Comfortable engaging very senior stakeholders in the firm on business-related topics
  • Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills - Ability to work with various data sets
