Job Description

THE GIG (Summary of the Role)

The job holder will provide support to RSL & Physical Testing Team, by coordinating with factory suppliers and nominated test houses, to ensure accurate components are included as per standard procedures.



  • Review and follow up on different types of test report from test items to billing details.
  • Coordinate accurate collection of components for RSL testing by working close with factory suppliers and nominated test houses.
  • Provide on-site guidance and training for shoe factory RSL teams to ensure they collect and accurately label all components required for testing.
  • On site liaison with nominated test houses to ensure highest possible accuracy of test sample processing and test report presentation.
  • Under guidance of Asia RSL team work to consolidate test samples where possible, and assist with administration of new consolidation initiatives.
  • Manage fail tests issues, working to agreed procedures to ensure timely and accurate retesting and reporting to ensure final result has been safely verified, before releasing to senior management.


  • Degree holder in Chemistry or above in related discipline, good mathematical skills would also be desirable.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in chemistry testing industry.
  • Credible, responsible, independent, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • High standard of integrity and compliance, understand importance of the diligence required to maintain accurate records and have the tenacity to pursue the correct information as required from all parties.
  • Self-motivated and desire to succeed with ability to take on a breadth of work scope to deliver positive and commercially viable outcomes.
  • Credible and highly professional in collaborating and interacting with stakeholders across various levels in the organization.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), and database management.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
