You will be responsible for:

  • Review Financial' s marketing material / promotional materials for sales and marketing department, including development/ production of sales and marketing materials for our Chinese / SEA market
  • Develop, implement, monitor regulatory and compliance framework for China and South East Asia (SEA) Market
  • Ensure all sales brochure, advertising, promotional materials, sales materials and arrangements are in compliance with the related legislation and regulations
  • Regularly liaise with the Sales and Marketing Department, our Compliance Teams in APAC regional and provide any regulatory changes, update and recommendations on compliance policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with Global Compliance Department & monitor standard business activities, functions and practices to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  • Provide assistance on ad-hoc investigations in order to get background information to provide advice and recommendations
  • Establish and develop appropriate and effective internal compliance policies and procedures on any new regulatory requirements and business activities or products
  • Identify key compliance risks and weaknesses, and recommend enhanced procedures to improve operational efficiency and control
  • Conduct compliance training to in-house staff and perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned

Ideal candidate should meet our below requirements:

  • Degree holder in Commerce, Law, Audit or related disciplines with professional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Management Accountant, Qualified Lawyer are credits
  • At least 4 years’ experience in compliance preferably in finance industry with China business environment and regulatory exposure
  • Able to demonstrate his / her leadership style by providing a sound compliance & business recommendations
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements & good understanding of control concepts as well as compliance rules and regulations
  • Proficiency in English and Putonghua speaking & sound writing skills
  • Able to read and input Simplified and Traditional Chinese is a must
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Compliance Manager – Marketing / Promotional Materials Review Focus.
