Assist Business Unit Compliance Officer (BUCO) to develop, implement and monitor the risk based compliance plan covering the relevant regulatory requirements as well as those under Corporate Compliance Risk Management policy (CRMP).
Implement the CRMP baseline activities whilst balancing the business priorities with our governance, risk management and oversight requirements.
Establish and maintain strong collaboration with other assurance parties and first lines to embed the 3 Lines of Defense model and enhance business ownership of compliance risks.
Continue to assist business to implement the regulatory changes timely in cost effective manners and align with business
Render investigative support to the Hong Kong business unit including:
Investigate fraud, criminal acts occurring on company property and security breaches involving sensitive or proprietary information.
Provide general consulting services to management about the investigation services.
Perform investigations into Sun Life Financial Code of Business Conduct violations, non-compliance with Sun Life Financial information security policies and standards and Sun Life Financial's Fraud Risk Management Policy.
Assist the BUCO or delegate to implement and manage the Fraud Risk Management and anti-Bribery programs.
Job Requirement:
University graduate
At least 10 years of relevant working experience
7 years prior working experience in compliance /audit/ internal controls related area.
Legal, accounting and risk management professional qualifications
Prior working experience in enforcement unit/compliance/ audit/ internal controls related area
Knowledge and hands-on experience in distribution compliance.
Strong familiarity with Hong Kong legislation and regulatory environment.
Familiar with OCI/ SFC/ Data Privacy/ MPFA regulatory requirements
