Compliance Officer/ Manager (AML)

Compliance Manager (AML)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct transactions monitoring and AML investigations in liaison with internal and external parties
  • Formulate AML policies & procedures and make suggestions to strengthen the AML/CFT system
  • Provide advisory support to the management and associates on AML/CFT issues
  • Maintain and update the AML Policy Manual and AML Procedures Manual to be in line with the relevant internal policies as well as the local legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure AML/CFT related information and publications are properly distributed and duly communicated to relevant associates
  • Identify areas for improvement in the AML process/documentation, AML Information System, transactions monitoring and AML investigations on an on-going basis
  • Provide AML advice to business units and conduct AML compliance training

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Law, Risk Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years’ AML compliance experience in financial or banking industries
  • Possess good knowledge on banking operations, products and services
  • Self-motivated, independent with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluent in Mandarin is preferred)
  • Legal drafting skills a definite advantage
  • Proficient in PC skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Attentive to details, compliance and control oriented, diligent and proactive
