Consumer Bank - Operation Support Analyst, Officer


The Ops Sup Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Analyst 2 serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.


  • To support daily operations of investment products processing, risk monitoring, control and services standards
  • To assist in training, coaching department staff and effectively implement operations and compliance procedures
  • To deal with international issuers, fund houses (local and foreign), custodians, insurance companies and services providers in daily operations issues.
  • To assist Investment Operations Manager in daily activities including ensuring proper execution, procedural control and regulatory compliance
  • To ensure timely and proper execution of daily trading, records, set up, monthly billing, settlement, reconcilement, corporate events, dividend payment, proxy etc.
  • To identify any irregularities and report to Investment Operations Manager or Investment Operations Head
  • To resolve long outstanding issues such as late receipt of cash dividend due
  • To liaise amongst cross-functional areas: WM, Marketing, Branches, Technology and external service providers to resolve any ad hoc issues
  • To contribute in building relevant control points to reduce risk exposure.
  • To optimize productivity and improve customer service satisfaction.
  • To support new product/service development and respective UPT/UAT
  • To prepare MIS reports, management and regulatory reports
  • To assist in coaching and training


  • 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
