A leading Bank is now hiring for an experienced Content Planning Manager to join their Digital Content team in HK for a renewable contract. The role will be overseeing Content strategies and allocation for the China and APAC region.

The ideal candidate must have solid Project Management experience with experience in management of Online Content, exposure to E-commerce and also leading a medium sized team.

About the role:

 

  • Working within the Digital Content Team and is responsible for planning the pipeline and delivery of all tasks coming in through the Content Portal.
  • to allocate request/ work to team members and manage delivery against SLAs.
  • conduct regular reporting on velocity and capacity ,working with senior manager to re-prioritise tasks
  • Responsible for the execution and delivery of content journeys across the digital channels, to meet global and local needs
  • Ensuring that all initiatives (both digital and off-line) are aligned and optimised with speed to market – driving towards delivering agreed KPIs/ROI
  • Feeding back opportunities where process can be made more efficient (e.g. better component builds, simplified workflows)
  • The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators
  • Manage a team of Content Editors located in Hong Kong and China


Requirements:

  • relevant knowledge and experience in the review of and approval of financial promotions and other marketing/customer facing communications.
  • bachelor's degree in any discipline (E-commerce / Marketing a plus)
  • excellent English, Cantonese and Mandarin written and spoken
  • prior experience in leading a small-mid sized team
  • Proven experience of working effectively and closely with a marketing/business function - an environment where appropriate balance is required between compliance, creativity and commercial judgement.
  • ability to independently prioritise and manage multiple demands appropriately, be organised and structured with excellent attention to detail and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • excellent stakeholder/relationship management skills – be able to effectively collaborate and seek out agreeable solutions/discuss complex issues and influence the outcome of these discussions with people at every level/area of the organisation.
  • possess the ability and drive to help raise standards and make constructive challenges to help build an open culture based on continuous improvement.
  • self-motivated and possesses the ability to apply technical knowledge to educate the business appropriately in an engaging way.


degree level educated and hold an appropriate professional qualifications to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory environment (desirable)
