Contract Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a leading Pay TV operator in Hong Kong. We are now currently seeking a motivated teammate with legal background to join the Business Unit in supporting strategic initiatives and business growth. Other responsibilities include:

Your New Role:

• As a member of the Business Unit, work independently and closely with Group Legal Office to assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiation of a range of commercial agreements including content acquisition, advertising and marketing cooperation agreements for local and international media & entertainment businesses.
• Review terms and conditions of products and services offered by the Business Unit
• Perform legal research and other legal assistance and quasi-secretarial duties such as contract filing and legal translation.
• Carry out / perform other commercial legal related duties in alignment with strategic business plans and directions as determined by management.
• Work closely with the Group Legal Office to ensure compliance with legal requirements as per Group’s standards.

To Succeed in this role:

• A University degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualification
• General commercial legal experience. Familiar with IP and / or media & entertainment matters is an advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal environment is preferable.
• Lawyer qualification is not required by welcomed
• Good negotiating, problem-solving and communications skills
• Well–developed organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently under time pressure and pro-active
• Able to work with minimal supervision
