~A bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; and
~A good command of both Chinese and English and have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent; and
~MUST have at least 5 years of full-time post-degree working experience at manager rank positions in government or quasi-government bodies or public service sector, and experience in funding schemes is a MUST. (Only candidates with sufficient relevant working experience will be considered)
~Proficiency in Putonghua, good communication and interpersonal skills, good knowledge of Hong Kong’s services economy, experience in event management and good research, statistical and computer knowledge are preferred.
~To assist in the start-up of the new funding scheme, such as liaising with contractor for construction and testing of Official Website, preparing leaflets and arranging various publicity activities (e.g. organising briefings for prospective applicants, drafting invitation letters and press release), etc.
~ To assist in devising and testing out the new system for the launching of the scheme on the first few rounds of applications –
(i) To assist in working out the modus operandi of the scheme, such as seeking clarifications/supplementary information from applicants, proposed budget items, preparing draft assessment reports, etc.
(ii) To assist in devising the system of engaging the Vetting Committee for seeking its approval of the recommendations.
(iii) To assist in taking follow-up actions on the first few rounds of approved applications, such as finalising project proposals with successful applicants, vetting project time-tables and cash-flow projections, working out fund disbursement schedules, preparing agreements, arranging disbursement of funds and maintaining liaisons with project grantees, etc.
~ To provide helpdesk service, handling enquiries, maintaining and updating the database and Official Website, preparing management/ statistical reports, etc.
~To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
