Contracts/ Tenders Manager | RFP/ RFI | Asset Management

A reputable asset management firm is looking for a RFP/ RFI professional to ensure consistent management of all proposals and contracts. This generally includes oversight of the contract management process as well as contract negotiations and document management. This position in the contract development process requires close collaboration with various business units and multiple stakeholders.


  • Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into the database and securely maintained
  • Develop standards for contracts including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language and provisions
  • Conduct meetings to identify issues and client requirements, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables
  • Draft contractual provisions based on discussions, senior management input, and organizational needs and expectations
  • Assure accuracy and appropriateness of contract test and attachments
  • Serve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations
  • Maintain deadlines on deliverables with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues, including contractual reporting requirements
  • Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal
  • Contribute to the development of RFP, manage responses and develop implementation plans for the selected clients and applications


  • Prior work experience in a contract management role across the financial services sector
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to drive defined outcomes
  • Proficiency in utilizing and interpreting financial models and analyses
  • Experience in applying organizational standards when developing requests for proposals, negotiating terms and drafting contracts
  • Excellent negotiating and persuasive skills
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Proficient PC Knowledge in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Highly organized the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
