I. KEY OBJECTIVES FOR THE ROLE工作目標
The High Yield Analyst will be responsible for performing fundamental credit analysis for High Yield credits. The analyst is expected to provide accurate and timely credit analysis and provide investment recommendations. The analyst will also be assigned sector and/or regional coverage. Depending on the skill set and experience of the individual, there may be flexibility for the coverage responsibilities. The goal is for the analyst to be the in-house expert in his or her area of coverage. The analyst is also expected to be collaborative and work as part of a team of research analysts and portfolio managers. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, be able to take on responsibilities and projects as needed and serve as a mentor for more junior team members.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 關鍵職責
Perform fundamental credit analysis and valuations for High Yield credits in various sectors.
Publish credit reports and provide investment recommendations.
Perform industry reviews and discuss sector outlook and strategy.
Monitor existing holdings and internal research databases.
Actively participate in roadshow/conferences/issuer meetings.
III. QUALIFICATIONS 所需資質
Bachelor’s degree required, masters and/or CFA desirable.
Minimum 5-10 years of proven experience in High Yield analysis, either the buy or sell side. Experience at an established institution are viewed favorably but not required.
Strong credit/financial analysis skills and solid understanding of covenant structures.
Superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate investment recommendations both verbally and in writing.
Strong team player who is able to help with special projects/initiatives as needed.
Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
Strong computer and data management skills.
Fluency in Mandarin preferred.
