What will you do

Reporting to the General Manager – South East Asia (SEA), you will work independently to provide leadership to drive profits and revenue growth of the business including overall sales efforts, growth strategies, and market share growth. You will work closely with other relevant sales teams and be responsible for B2C & B2B channel for the different lines of business in Hong Kong. Drive account management and portfolio growth strategies to facilitate the profitable growth of designated line of business. Direct the deployment and execution of sales strategies, programs, processes, and tools to achieve growth objectives. Provide a continuous improvement focus on business productivity, sales cadence on pipeline creation, forecasting, strategic relationship with various factories & OEMs, sales coaching as well as market expertise and sales support to the SEA business.

How you will do it

  • Provide overall business direction for the different lines of business (LOB) in Hong Kong in terms of gathering market intelligence, reviewing competitor landscape, identifying competitive advantages for targeting growth areas and also strategic business areas to maintain and defend.
  • Lead the engagement of existing and potential customers and stakeholders (owners, developers, consultants and government bodies) to win new business, and grow existing customer accounts.
  • Develop and execute short and long-term business plans, provide accurate forecasts for secured and revenue numbers.
  • Perform key account Management or management of very large distributors.
  • Deploy product training programs to ensure LOB employees (including non-Sales) are up to date on the latest product specifications and knowledge.
  • Engage with Regional and/or Global Product Development/Engineering groups to customize solutions for Hong Kong.
  • Work hand in hand with the SEA Leadership team to direct sales performance productivity across all established sales roles, develop and review metrics to ensure productivity levels are achieved.
  • Work hand in hand with the SEA Leadership team to facilitate consistent sales processes and offerings across all branches, drive all aspects of continuous improvement program for sales leading/lagging indicator metrics.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned. 

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor Degree in engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • Fifteen years of experience in sales, sales management, and marketing including 5 years of sales management experience and direct sales experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational credibility in achievement of sales and profit plans for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to coordinate different parts of organizations to achieve success.
  • Excellent command of both spoken & written English and Chinese
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiating, strategic planning & organizing skills,
  • Independent, resourceful and hands-on

Preferred

  • MBA holder
  • Possess relevant exposure and knowledge of our industry
