Creative Sous Chef (Fine Dining)


The incumbent will assist the Chef de Cuisine in creating and developing new menus, select and source for exotic seasonal ingredients, as well as innovative cooking techniques for ARBOR. He / she will also have to refine the food quality and overseeing the kitchen operations efficiency. He / she will monitor the standard of food quality and quantity as well as overseeing the hygiene and security standards.


  • Vocational training in Culinary
  • Minimum 6 years of culinary experience in western luxury hotels and/ or fine dining restaurants with minimum 2 years in menu creation and development
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Japan is a MUST
  • Relevant experience in Nordic restaurants is preferred
  • Proven record in research and development of new dishes with international exposure
  • Creative, innovative, strong art sense, well-versed in kitchen hygiene and service-oriented
  • A good team player with good communication and supervisory skills
  • Good spoken English
