Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the department, in order to ensure that outstanding debts are closely followed-up according to the established collection targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Follow-up actively on all overdue accounts receivables by calls/email
  • Handle daily order release requests
  • Proactively monitor the status of individual credit accounts to enhance cash recovery and ensure problem debts can be quickly identified and addressed
  • Review of customer accounts and provide written credit risk evaluation and assessment, making recommendation to management
  • Liaising with other departments for disputed billings and outstanding accounts
  • Responsible for timely cash collection and minimizing bad debts
  • Meet the monthly collection target & minimize bad debts
  • Prepare credit write-up for approval / prepare credit notes to customers
  • Assist in other credit duties as may be assigned from time to time
  • Perform ad hoc analysis


Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Accounting or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years credit experience in a sizable company
  • Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to details
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken) and Chinese including Mandarin
