Credit Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and examine credit proposals for corporate lending, trade finance, structured finance, non-bank FI, fixed income and treasury products;
  • Perform credit analysis and provide recommendation to minimize the Bank’s credit risk;
  • Initiate credit risk assessment tools to measure, evaluate and manage credit risks of loan portfolio to align with the Bank’s business and risk management strategies;
  • Ensure the governance with the approved parameters for credit risk;
  • Drive and participate in the implementation of credit management related systems;
  • Prepare various Credit Risk Management report and departmental reports ;
  • Perform remedial management for NPL accounts;
  • Develop and review credit risk system;
  • Assist in formulating lending guidelines, credit and industry risk appetite policy
  • Assist in compiling regulatory returns ;
  • Assist Department Head in ad-hoc projects or initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business, Banking, Finance or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experiences in Corporate / Commercial Banking credit risk management with reputable banks;
  • Relevant experience in Chinese Bank is a plus;
  • Sound knowledge in different types of lending and documentation;
  • Experience in handling credit analysis of structured finance, including M&A, LBO, MBO is a must;
  • Analytical, detailed-oriented , strong numerical and business sense;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Willing to travel for business purpose.
