A Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking to hire a Consultant to join their Crisis Management team on a long term basis.
Your main duty as a Consultant is to monitor and assess all non-market events that may affect the operations of the company and its employees.
This is a two year contract on a shift basis.
Candidates coming from a journalism, reporter or political science background are preferred.
This is not an investment banking position.
About the Role:
Monitor and assess impact of regional events via specified information sources
Provide routine reporting based on issues which affect business such as high-risk travel, event-related risk, facilities, natural disasters, and other topical threats
Manage and update the risk relevant data
Analyse impact of events or threats to the company
Provide ongoing support to the crisis manager
Log and report the sequence of events and company response during a crisis
Draft and disseminate crisis communications
Respond to and field enquiries from firm-wide stakeholders in a crisis
About the Person:
Bachelor's degree in journalism or political science
Fluency in English and another Asian language preferred
Able to work shift hours
About the Company:
This is not an investment banking position. Though the role is within a Tier 1 Investment Bank, the role itself is a qualitative role that is not related to capital markets or banking products.
