We are currently looking for a high caliber candidate to support the Senior Account Manager China to maintain and develop current business volumes, identify and achieve new business opportunities for Gate Gourmet group companies.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations
  • Manage and understand customer service level agreements, airline contracts and liaise with Company’s legal department for required comments and amendments
  • Prepare development plans, budgets for designated airlines
  • Participate in meetings and menu presentations where customers are operating; single and multi-station tenders and negotiations; customer meetings according to account plans
  • Work closely with project team in assigned innovation and new product/ service initiatives
  • Liaise with other group companies regarding commercial activities and business opportunities
  • Ensure that customer global instructions are clearly communicated to the concerned business units and follow up on implementation
  • Involve in Business entertainment with customers
  • Provide support to business units on commercial aspects
  • Track and report tender win/loss
  • Monitor internal SRS data or equivalent on customer reports, trends and Customer Data in
  • Collect and collate customer news, information, developments and communicate internally effectively
  • Participate in the preparation and review P&L of assigned customer account
  • Monitor customer accounts receivable and follow up on due payments when requested
  • Evaluate market data, maintain and update market data

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience in sales and customer service of airline, catering, service industry desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Proactive towards customer needs and expectations
  • General financial skills including analysis of accounts, budgeting, margin management, P&L and other financial reports
  • Basic legal skills for contract management/ negotiation.
  • High competent computer skills MS office (Knowledge of and SAP is advantage)
  • Ability to handle a stressful working environment with adherence to time deadline, manage and handle change effectively
  • Culturally sensitive with a keen understanding of cultural variants
  • Persistent, result and target orientated
  • Outspoken, effective and clear communicator
  • Corporate culture thinking
  • Excellent English & Chinese Mandarin (Spoken and Written)
  • Proficiency in other languages a plus
