Responsibilities

Assist in the daily operations within Support to ensure the delivery of excellent results and achieve goals with a focus on the following:

Customer: our customers are changing the world, and it is your responsibility to exceed their expectations of what service experience should be. We expect you to go above and beyond for our customers by

  • Providing support on all technical problems within own area of expertise, through the provision of telephone and on-line support
  • Working with the customer/vendor/partners to establish the root cause of problems and provide end-to-end service support, retaining ownership of a case, by resolving it individually or escalating it - in accordance with the Service Level Agreement, and provide measures to prevent recurrence.
     

Team and People: we expect you to put your team’s success before your own. Your team members will look to you to champion open communication, pro-actively share knowledge, active problem solving, and a positive work environment.

Operational Excellence: you must understand every aspect of Service Delivery performance, and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of operations.

 

Besides providing customer support there may also be a need to implement solutions and provide product-related consulting at customer sites.
 

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles with preferably business/technical experience within messaging middleware or SWIFT systems

Required

  • Knowledge of (financial) messaging platforms is preferred.
  • Good Java, XML and SQL knowledge.
  • Working knowledge with change management applications (e.g. JIRA, Ant, Hudson or Jenkins Tools)
  • Development and versioning experience using tools such as Git, Subversion
  • Experience using XML, Oracle database
  • Consultancy experience

Nice to have

  • Experience Unix bash scripting
  • Knowledge in SSO, LDAP integration with applications
  • Working knowledge of JMS tools or similar other testing tools
  • Familiarity and understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium, HP UFT
  • Knowledge of SalesForce is an asset.

Soft skills

  • Languages: Fluent English, both written and spoken. Any other major language is an asset (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa…).
  • Encourages and promotes a continuous improvement mind-set for business processes and policies to drive operational success in terms of the security, availability and reliability.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and knowledge sharing skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizing and reporting skills.
