Data Analyst, Asia Pacific

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support data and process activities for new POS & Inventory systems
  • Working closely with APAC Data team and system experts on handle the master data cleansing and maintenance as per the SSP Way standards
  • Share knowledge end to end operational and business process flows with project manager and data team
  • Act as the contact point and being the go-to person for all daily operations of master data request.
  • Support the testing phases of the project by engaging with work stream owners, reviewing test cases and supporting testing
  • Occasionally support end user training during deployment phase so affected users understand changes to the business
  • Monitor the data quality and solve common data problem with support from APAC Data team and problem solving

 

Skills

  • Good knowledge in MS Office tools - Word, Excel, Power Point and project scheduling
  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and great attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and with remote teams 
  • Must have a positive, can-do attitude and show willingness to learn and develop
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Someone with experience working as a Business/Support Analyst within a consumer facing business
  • Some knowledge and understand of EPOS System set-up & retail data flows
  • Some experience of working with Data analyst on analyzing/troubleshooting data to find errors, anomalies and problem solving

 

Requirements 

  • Diploma or above in IT or related disciplines.
  • 1 – 3 years’ relevant working experience in IT sector, enterprise data maintenance and data cleansing roles, preferably gained in F&B/retail industry.
  • Experienced in working with various countries within Asia-Pacific region.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA and Marco.
  • Sensitive to numbers, detailed minded, logical thinking, well organized and adaptive to fast-paced retail environment, Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of business application – MICROS RES or EPOS system, inventory system/solution and Microsoft Dynamic NAV is advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese (both written and spoken), Mandarin and Thai are preferable.
  • Immediate available is a definite advantage.
  • Travel is required.
