We are looking for a tech-savvy, highly-driven and motivated Data Analyst (Customer Experience) for our Operations team in Hong Kong. If you are looking for a place where you can gain hands-on experience and have a direct impact, then this may be the place for you! The ideal candidate will have a track record as a strong data cruncher, an excellent data-based story-teller and a prolific designer of compelling infographics and beautifully crafted reports.

About the Job:

This role will be based in Hong Kong and will report to the Customer Experience Manager and work closely with the management team. As a passionate data and insights enthusiast, you will be empowered to find the most effective and visually appealing ways of making data and insights available to all departments in the foodpanda HK team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough, insightful and skillfully presented deep-dives into specific business topics and trends;
  • Spearhead ad-hoc projects such as report automation systems, dashboard creation and continuous maintenance of the data pipeline;
  • Supporting and challenging the Management team towards making optimal data-driven decisions;
  • Design, build and maintain state-of-the art reports on tableau to empower the local team to make optimal business decisions

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diversity matters in foodpanda, even if you don’t have a background in Data Science or Statistics. As long as you can prove your strong analytical skills and passion for data through side projects, internship, or any other experience, we are interested in you;
  • Preferably you have 2+ years of work experience in high growth start-ups, tech companies, consulting or business intelligence;
  • Ability to ask the right questions and draw the right conclusions and actionable insights;
  • Ability to tell a story from data and present it in a clear and compelling way;
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, SQL and Tableau is a MUST
  • Proficient communication in English (Cantonese is a plus);
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with less experience will also be considered as long as they demonstrated good potential;
  • Great energy and a positive attitude
