Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the company’s Data Strategic Office on collecting and analyzing the data needs of business units across the organization
- Gather and consolidate data related project requirements from all levels of stakeholders
- Act as a bridge between business units, Data Strategic Office and IT department on data requirements process and facilitate the discussion on data requirements with those business units & IT department
- Responsible for articulating data requirements in form of business requirement documentation (BRD) and translating them into business cases for formulating the company’s data strategy
- Provide support in Data Strategic Office on resolving data definition conflict
- Standardize data related work along IT’s SDLC
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Studies / Information Technology or related disciplines
- At least 4 to 7 years’ working experience as Business Analyst in data warehousing projects or data governance and data quality management related duties with relevant knowledge in high end luxury retail business, operation & inventory management is an advantage
- Hands-on experience in articulating requirements in the form of business cases, use cases, use stories, data flow diagrams, data modeling, process modeling, prototyping
- Exposure on data management frameworks such as DAMA, BICC, DMM and using data governance / dictionary tools such as Collibra, IBM, MDM, SQL, SAS, Qlikview, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, SQLServer
- Proficient in SDLC project management execution
- Strong business analysis and consultancy skills are a must
- Independent, proactive with good communication skill
- Result-oriented with critical thinking
