Data Center Engineer, Financial Services

A well-established Financial Institution is expanding their footprint across APAC and looking for a brand-new Data Center Engineer to join them, working closely with the global technical engineers for projects delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to provide operation support in Data Centre for Hong Kong market
• Responsible for site selection, reference design - redesigning and upgrading facilities and systems and migration
• Work closely with global teams for projects delivery
• Follow procedures, instructions and checklists to complete tasks with good quality
• Ensure all client requests and other ad-hoc duties are processed in an efficient and timely manner
• Evaluate the design to ensure compliance with local regulation and make sure the design fulfills the operation requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in Information Systems or Computer Science
• 5 years or above in data center admin/ engineering/ management
• Experiences supporting China Market is required
• Knowledge in data center facility, transmission or IP network will be an advantage
• Be familiar with facilities around data center, including electrical power, cooling system, cabinet.
• Excellent in communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, dedicated and self-motivated
• Good command in spoken and written in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
