The Division

The Customer and International Business Development Division (C&I) is responsible for providing quality wagering experience marketing, and CRM to local and overseas customers of the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The ultimate aim is to provide an impressive total customer experience leading to sustainable turnover growth in a responsible manner.


The Job

You will

  • Deliver user centred digital application projects across the Club’s range of digital channels, including mobile app, website, ecommerce and cross-media platforms; and work closely with business users and management to gather requirements and translate into detail user requirements
  • Deliver innovative ideas for the Club’s digital applications and services by leveraging advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning approaches
  • Research on cutting-edge technologies of deep learning, and develop algorithms/models to solve business problems
  • Prototype innovative deep learning networks/models for multi-task problems, including natural language processing, object detection and recognition, voice recognition, etc


About You

You should have

  • Master / Phd in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics or related degree with 5+ years experience in artificial intelligence with a focus on machine learning and neural network
  • Solid knowledge in Chatbot, artificial intelligence, machine learning, voice processing technology
  • Strong experience with deep learning framework (i.e. Tensorflow, Torch etc)
  • Proven command of Python, R or similar languages
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - able to communicate complex ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Understanding of user centred / UX design is a plus
  • Excellent working attitude, self-motivated and team player


Terms of employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
