We are now looking for a proactive and high caliber candidate for the position of “Demand & Inventory Planner, APAC” to join us. 

You will report to Head of Operations, APAC, and play a critical role in the Supply Chain processes.

 

Demand and Inventory Planner, APAC

 

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Driving the S&OP process within the APAC region from sales forecasts to inventory planning
  • Prepare sales forecasts & annual sales budget on both distributors & direct market business; manage data & the trend with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure forecast accuracy
  • Inventory control planning through demand forecast accuracy improvement & reduce slow-moving inventory holdings
  • Maintain a healthy inventory level to meet demand while minimizing excess stock
  • Conducting data analysis on stock level and other KPI to further recommend improvement actions
  • Design and enhance business reports to facilitate day-to-day operations and management review.

Preferred Skills & Experiences

  • Degree holder or above in Supply Chain, Logistics or other Business-related disciplines
  • At least 5 years solid practical experience in demand & inventory planning and analysis, preferably with multinational company and FMCG industry
  • Able to handle massive data analysis (3k – 5k SKUs)
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English & Chinese
  • Good communication skill, detail-minded and able to work independently
  • Strong business acumen with outstanding analytical as well as problem solving skills
  • Familiar in Microsoft Office Excel, experience in SAP is an advantage
  • Multitasking and work under pressure is expected
  • Immediate available or short notice period is definitely a plus
