We are currently helping our Client in searching for the suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of:

Deputy Financial Controller (Based in PRC)

Our Client: O ne of the leading property companies with hotel developments in Hong Kong and PRC.

Report to : General Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

• Serve as an internal audit lead for the hotel property’s financial accounting and to provide sound financial  analysis and advice;
• Review management reports to ensure accuracy;
• Assist in implementation and enhancement of internal control procedures;
• Ensure compliance with corporate policy and legal regulations in both PRC and Hong Kong;
• Liaise with auditors, lawyers and regulatory bodies on statutory audit requirements.

The Person:

• A degree in accounting qualification (HKICPA) preferred with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.  Experience with stationed in PRC exposure will be an advantage.
• Experience of working in hotel with an advantage
• Good knowledge of HKGAAP
• Audit experience from Big 4 is preferred
• Solid management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Excellent communications skills in both English and Chinese and Putonghua.

Remuneration : Compensation will be set at a level appropriate to the background, current position and current compensation of the successful candidate.
