Our client is a global hedge fund manager that leverages multiple investment strategies and focuses on discretionary long/short equities. The role provides an all-rounded experience to key trading and investment processes, through working closely with portfolio managers, other departments as well as counterparties and prime brokers. With a knowledge of fixed income and derivatives products, one would be entrusted with ample opportunities to optimize the operational efficiency.

It leverages its multiple investment strategies with a focus on discretionary long/short equities, and manages a wide spectrum of asset classes including equities, fixed income and derivatives. It has grown rapidly based on the founder's over 20 years' experience of investment.   • Confirm daily trade activity in various derivative products which include but not limited to FX, futures and options
  • Liaise with key stakeholders (e.g. counterparties and prime brokers/FCMs) for settlement and trade clearance
  • Work directly with Portfolio Managers and Traders on operational needs and ad-hoc requests
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Technology, Legal and Compliance on outstanding requirements
  • Monitor daily control processes and other activities for operational efficiency

  • Candidate with 3-6 years experience in external audit or accounting
  • With experience in asset management or other financial institutions
  • Degree holder major in Accounting, Finance, Science or other relevant disciplines
  • GPA 3.2 or above
  • Focused on FX and listed derivatives, with knowledge of fixed income and derivatives products
  • Experience in using Murex is preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite
  • Detail-minded, able to work independently with organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
