Desktop Support, Treasury IT

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and helpdesk support on systems and platforms to maintain a smooth and efficient operations for Treasury in Hong Kong and overseas branches. 
  • Design, plan, build and administer client desktop, windows servers, file sharing, mobile devices and system management solutions.
  • Support and resolve IT related system issues as well as provide quick fixes for users.
  • Liaise and coordinate with IT on bug fixes, system support, UAT configuration and system & application setup.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to provide support and solutions on hardware, software, network, application installation and Bloomberg / Reuters terminal setup.
  • Maintain an inventory log of all IT equipment, e.g. Desktop Phones, BT Phones, computer hardware, etc., in Dealing Room and handle related requests and issues.
  • Provide deal booking support to traders and sales on Murex / PDP and solve any issues logging to CRM portal.
  • Reconcile and review of monthly invoices and assist team head in various IT projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ in-depth experience in desktop support in Treasury.
  • Knowledge on Treasury products (e.g. FX cash, FX derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Bonds/Repo) and Treasury related IT systems (e.g. Murex).
  • Possess with programming knowledge (e.g. Python, C#, Java, etc.) is at advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and proactive attitude is essential.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
