Are you interested in supporting education and gaining valuable experience in the philanthropic sector? The University of Oxford China Office in Hong Kong is seeking for a bright, hardworking and collaborative colleague who will support our fundraising work across China and help us to foster effective, collaborative relationships with foundations and trusts, corporations, individual philanthropists and partner organisations. Your work will contribute to building links between China and one of the world’s great universities.

We are a small, fast-paced office located in Hong Kong that is part of the University’s central administration and integral to the £3 billion Oxford Thinking Campaign. The role is a junior one, but extremely important. You will be supporting our fundraising efforts, writing correspondence and coordinating meetings, producing reports and research on the philanthropic sector and working closely with colleagues in both Hong Kong and Oxford. In the process, you will learn world-class education development practices from Europe’s top fundraising institution.

Select requirements:
• A university degree
• Strong personal interest in education and philanthropy, ideally with some fundraising experience
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Passionate, detail-oriented and trustworthy, with excellent organisational skills
