Job Summary:

The Digital Business Manager (eCommerce) is accountable for digital business development in HK, China and international markets to achieve Hong Kong Disneyland’s digital business revenue goals. 

This includes partnering with China-based digital platforms and major, international e-Commerce players, optimizing site traffic and initiating and supporting digital promotions on our company’s websites/apps and eCommerce flagship stores (e.g. Tmall/Fliggy, WeChat).

This role will liaise with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management & Analytics and external sales partners to develop appropriate sales activities that drive traffic and revenue to our “digital direct" platforms. 

The Digital Business Manager (eCommerce) requires strong business acumen, vendor management and influencing skills. This role will provide insights into local business challenges, trends and opportunities, and is accountable for growing and meeting Hong Kong Disneyland’s online revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for digital business strategy and implementation/execution of plans to achieve annual business goals for Hong Kong Disneyland’s “digital direct" platforms. Conduct business presentation and reviews to demonstrate strategy and vision to the company, with the objective to achieve eCommerce goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional LOBs incl. Revenue Management & Analytics, Marketing, Sales & Distribution Marketing and Operations to achieve eCommerce targets in various markets
  • Analyze and optimize web data and sales data from all digital channels to maximize transaction value. Propose the best fitting products and strategy in developing “digital direct" channels
  • Develop & execute digital partnership plans with third party digital platforms to drive digital engagement and traffic to Hong Kong Disneyland’s “digital direct" platforms

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree holder
  • Minimum 6 years’ working experience with at least 3 years’ in e-business, experience in travel or hotel industry are preferred
  • Strong commercial, project planning, presentation, leadership and management skills
  • Good liaison skills for business development and building partnerships (internal and external)
  • Ability to develop business cases and distill down research and data to identify business opportunities.
  • Strong analytic skills, sensitive to numbers including sales data, web analytics and user behavior
  • Ability to drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal responsibility
  • Knowledge of SEO and website content management
  • Digital technical knowledge like JAVA script, HTML, etc. is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese, Putonghua is preferred
