Job mission

Embrace the club Digital Strategy and adapt it to APAC territory by creating tailored and segmented content for main channels (social media channels/website**/app) and in different formats (live and regular).

Manage the day-to-day of website and social media channels (WeChat/Weibo and more) and align on digital strategic, commercial and growth objectives

 

Main responsibilities

  • Promote content by focusing on paid media efforts
  • Give supports to Activation Team – according to partners product, offer ideas on creating fan-engaging social media posts’ offer broad social media campaign ideas based on which partners can adapt to their needs
  • Digital Content approval
    • Aforementioned content
    • APAC’s Sponsors’ digital content
  • Facilitate the day-to-day and suggesting new activation ideas on the digital side. The candidate has to be aligned with the Sponsorship Activation Team (who manages the relationship with the Partner) and the Social Media Team in Barcelona.
  • Give support to Business Development Team in APAC – provide ideas on the digital side when needed
  • Monitor, support and approve Escola digital activation in APAC.
  • Align and give support to Digital Business Development Team in Barcelona if needed (digital channels, apps, digital licenses, etc)
  • Will be working closely with China projects. i.e. creating a new SNS account, manage content etc
  • Work with the corresponding PR agency for content generation

 

Knowledge and abilities required

  • Experience as a Digital Content Manager: KPI’s, Analytics, Content, Digital
  • Knowledge of Paid media planning
  • Languages: Mandarin and English are mandatory. Additional Asian language other than Cantonese will be a plus
  • New web/app: to work in coordination with Business Development Digital Team planning and publishing tailored experiences for Asian audiences. Advising for special events to manage geo-fencing, geo-targeting and other capabilities to improve personalized experiences for our digital users.

 

Knowledge:

  • Experience in sports sponsorship campaigns is useful but not a must.
  • Knowledge of Western and Asian social media.
  • Knowledge of the world of sport, especially football.
  • Knowledge of Barça.
  • Experience in digital departments.

  • Capacity for impact and convincing.

 

Education, Experience & Languages

Education:

  • Degree in Business Administration / Marketing

 

Experience:

  • 2-5 years
  • International (including China) experience
