Job mission

Embrace the club Digital Strategy and adapt it to APAC territory by creating tailored and segmented content for main channels (social media channels/website**/app) and in different formats (live and vod).

 

Manage the day-to-day of website and social media channels (WeChat/Weibo and more) and align on digital strategic, commercial and growth objectives

 

Main responsibilities

Digital Content

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with the Chinese Content Agency.
  • Align with the Global Content Strategy and tailored it to the Chinese market.
  • Post weekly in Chinese Social Media Channels (Wechat/Weibo)
  • Ensure content follows the Barça Brand Manual Guidelines
  • Promote content by focusing on paid media efforts

 

 

Digital Sponsorship Activation

  • Facilitate the day-to-day and suggesting new activation ideas on the digital side. The candidate has to be aligned with the Sponsorship Activation Team (who manages the relationship with the Partner) and the Social Media Team in Barcelona.
  • Monitor, support and approve Barca Academy digital activation in APAC.
  • Will be working closely with China Strategic projects.
  • Approve the corresponding content of APAC Sponsors following the Barça Brand Manual Guidelines
  • Give support to the Commercial Team in Barcelona & APAC – provide ideas on the digital side when needed (digital channels, apps, digital licenses, etc)

 

Knowledge and abilities required

  • Experience as a Digital Content Executive.
  • Comfortable in working with set KPI’s (fan growth, engagement, conversions) and the corresponding reporting.
  • Experience in content creation and distribution on Chinese social media channels
  • Knowledge of Paid media planning
  • New web/app: to work in coordination with Business Development Digital Team and external agencies planning and publishing tailored experiences for Asian audiences. Advising for special events to manage geo-fencing, geo-targeting and other capabilities to improve personalized experiences for our digital users.

 

Knowledge:

  • Experience in sports sponsorship campaigns is useful but not a must.
  • Knowledge of Western,Asian and Chinese social media channels.
  • Knowledge of the world of sport, especially football.
  • Experience in digital departments.
  • Knowledge of Barça.

Training, Education, Languages

Training:

  • Degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Digital

Experience:

  • 3-4 years
  • International (including China) experience

Languages required:

  • Mandarin (mother tongue) and English are mandatory.
  • Additional Asian language other than Cantonese will be a plus.
