Digital HR Transformation - Process and Employee Experience Lead

Job Summary

  • Lead and partner with Global Process Owner (Group COE) and the Business Units (BU) Local Process Owners on all project activities relating to HR process and employee experience transformation and data standardization for assigned HR functional areas (e.g. talent management, learning & development, personnel administration, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, knowledge management) to achieve:
    • Efficient, paperless HR operations enabled through process standardization and automation
    • Simple, intuitive and consistent employee experience across the group that is enabled through digital touchpoints
    • Reliable data and enhanced people insights driving business decision making
    • Effective people and HR operations risk management
    • Flexible and scalable solution that can meet future growth

  • Engage with senior HR leadership team and key stakeholders within the group and business units to ensure sufficient steer and buy-in to the transformed global process and employee experience for assigned HR functional areas

Responsibilities


Process Transformation and Solution Design

  • Partner with relevant Group COE Heads, Global and BU Process Owners to drive key design decisions and define the future HR processes
  • Define requirements and design the new HR solutions (systems, analytics, change enablement interventions, performance support tools etc.) to support the new HR processes, deliver enhanced user experience and provide more actionable insights to the business
  • Partner with Group COE Heads and Global and BU Process Owners to drive data and process standardization and be the gatekeeper for any request by business units to deviate from the standard, escalating as issues for discussion with the project change board
  • Ensure set up of global data structure and structures needed to support the new processes, requirements and deliver the right people insights for the business
  • Collaborate with external vendor, other functions and process leads from group and business units to ensure end to end integration within the functional modules and with external systems
  • Ensure elevated user experience in the solution, partnering with the external vendor, business users and technology partner to ensure key elements of good UX/UI design are incorporated into the solution
  • Ensure that all defined global processes and HR solutions meet the global AIA policies and local regulatory requirements

Project Management and Execution

  • Project manage and collaborate with Group and Local BU project team to ensure all project activities for the work stream is delivered as per project plan and quality standards, escalating any issues that cannot be resolved at the working level to the project management office
  • Leads and partner with relevant stakeholders to execute all project activities within the process workstream like solutioning and prototype, testing and data conversion to ensure the solution meet the target outcome of the transformation programme
  • To represent and be the voice of the Global and BU Process Owners in project management meetings and escalate any risk/issues that would derail the target outcome of the transformation programme

Change Management and Enablement

  • Actively engage with the group and BU stakeholders throughout the project to ensure sufficient buy-in to the change in process and recommended HR solutions
  • Perform change impact assessment and collaborate with the change management team in defining the right change interventions to ensure the key stakeholders and users will have the right mindsets and capability to operate in the new process environment

On-going Support

  • Review ongoing performance of the deployed HR solutions and define necessary changes to ensure on-going uplift of target KPIs & outcomes
  • Perform impact assessment and coordinate regression tests for any changes or scheduled updates to the solution

Requirements

  • University graduate with at least 10 - 12 years of relevant experience of which 6 – 8 years in delivering and supporting large scale HR transformation programme in large company setting with regional Asia focus
  • Experience in implementing leading HR Cloud Solution (e.g. SuccessFactors, Workday or Oracle HCM) with global process and data standardization is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging and interfacing with all levels of management, especially senior stakeholders
  • Able to influence and lead without authority
  • Conceptual thinker that can define frameworks to resolve situations or problem by identifying patterns or connections, and addressing key underlying issues
  • Process- and controls-oriented person who thrives on change and playing a key part in driving major, transformational enterprise efforts
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to successful completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional planning and people management skills
  • Optimistic; positive attitude; able to work in growing, fast paced environment; flexible and adaptable to change
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
