Role Overview and Responsibilities:
This newly created role will be responsible for developing and maintaining Fitch’s Asia Pacific (APAC) online search marketing, lead acquisition and conversion rate optimization strategy.
  • Develop an organic and paid search strategy for regional search engines and web platforms such as Baidu and WeChat
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to create content for the APAC markets in relevant local languages
  • Recommend Conversion Rate Optimisation (A/B) Tests for Asian websites
  • Develop, measure and analyse metrics including lead acquisition and conversion rates
  • Ownership of content curation and upload of Asia language websites
  • Review and recommend the content strategy approach and keyword recommendations based on competitive research, analysis and search trends of APAC markets
  • Research trends and recommend web technologies to drive the region’s growth strategy
Qualifications and Experience:
  • X years experience of implementing search marketing strategies within Greater China
  • Demonstrable prior experience of creating and implementing search engine strategies in China, both organic and paid search, is essential
  • Fluent verbal and written Mandarin and English
  • Previous experience in search engine driven editorial copy writing
  • Experience using web analytical tools such as X, Y, Z
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Must have an understanding of website CMS platforms such as Drupal/Magento/Magnolia
