Join our team as an experienced Anti-Bribery and Corruption Associate Director based in Hong Kong or Singapore working in Financial Crime Risk to support Asian business activities. Financial Crime Risk (FCR) a division within Macquarie’s Risk Management function is responsible for working with the business and key stakeholders to develop, execute and advise on compliance with our anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing, anti-bribery & corruption and economic sanctions risk management program for bank and non-bank activities.
You will play a key role in implementing and executing anti-bribery and corruption related policies and procedures which are compliant with our global policies as well as local regulatory requirements. Your role will be dynamic supporting business activities across our Asia offices. You will be heavily involved in day-to-day anti-bribery and corruption advisory and approvals. You will also interact with various global working groups through participation in global projects.
To thrive in this role, you should be prepared to actively engage with the business, continually learning Macquarie’s diverse product range developing tailored controls, advice and guidance. To be successfully you’ll be confident in acting as a trusted advisor as well as playing a critical review and challenge role. Your experience in handling anti-bribery and corruption issues in the non-banking and financial institution space will help you advise the business and approve escalations appropriately.
As a successful candidate, you will have gained an extended work experience within the anti-bribery and corruption field, ideally in construction, commodities or energy related industries, banking, legal or regulatory environment. A strong understanding of financial markets and an interest in developing a career in Financial Crime Risk will be an added plus.
