Our client is a leading global financial institutions and they are now looking for a top talent to fill the Head of Sales position.


  • The position is responsible for leading the Corporate Travel Sales team in Hong Kong to open up new local markets and drive best practice across local and greater China. This role will be responsible for the development of sound local market sales strategy which is aligned regionally and globally.
  • The person will develop and execute strategies for increasing sales effectiveness by creating a local value proposition, developing product knowledge and selling skills of the team and creating a team spirit within the sales organization, focused on collaborative relationships across business functions.
  • Most importantly the position will be accountable for growing the Corporate Travel business through the acquisition of new Local and Greater China customers and driving a customer focused, performance based sales culture across the team.


  • Achieve aggressive Corporate Travel Sales targets across Hong Kong and Greater China
  • Lead a sales team in executing all sales-related activities from fact-finding and qualification, RFP response and pre-emptive sales bids.
  • Aggressively manage the Hong Kong Corporate Travel Sales pipeline ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of results.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and new Product Development in developing and executing best-in-class selling propositions.
  • Develop and execute the Hong Kong and Greater China sales strategy in line with the Asia Pacific Sales Plan.
  • Build a talented organization that achieves results by finding, developing and retaining a highly talented and motivated sales workforce.
  • Align strategies with regional sales colleagues and share best-in-class practices, to ensure consistency and quality across the region.
  • Live and instill in team members the Blue Box Values, including personal accountability and the will to win.
  • Meet all expense budgets by actively controlling all teams’ expenditures.
  • Develop linkages with the implementation team to facilitate fast and efficient implementation of won business.
  • Align with global sales effectiveness to develop continuous improvement training schedules to increase scorecard effectiveness across all sales teams.
  • Support VP, Head of Sales, Asia Pacific in inspiring an energized and winning culture within each individual Sales Manager across all markets within the region
