DIRECTOR, MARKETING SERVICES

Director of Marketing Services will lead strategic and business development meetings with senior executives at priority customers (“Strategic Growth" and “Focused Growth" accounts) to identify critical business issues, needs and strategic priorities with the objective to position TransUnion as partner of choice to achieve desired goals. She/he will also support strategic sales efforts, working collaboratively with leaders and cross-functional teams such as Strategy and Planning, Sales, Technology/Operations and Product.

She/he will also develop and use a thorough understanding of markets within the region to provide subject matter expertise, guidance and recommendations that will drive success and growth of marketing solutions in market. This position will consult with internal partners to establish project priorities, capacity planning and recommend process, solutions, product and/or service improvements.
 
How you’ll contribute
  • Network with Senior Product, Marketing and Non-Risk executives including “Digital" senior representatives at our key clients across Financial Services, Telco, Insurance, Fintech verticals
  • Develop new relationships across E-commerce, Retail and other targeted industries.
  • Pitch TU solutions to Senior Product, Marketing, Digital and Non-Risk executives:
  • Create common thread across solutions that appeal to product & marketing folks.
  • Create collateral (specifically – marketing metrics) that we are missing.
  • Work in parallel on scaling global solutions across regional markets.
  • Partner / work with technology companies on digital marketing
  • Interface with Product/Solutions, Tech, Ops. & Data teams in region as needed, and provide a marketing solution perspective into Data Acquisition and Solution Development.
  • Work closely with Consumer Interactive Business Unit and Headquarter teams to create a one-stop view of our marketing offering.
  • Landscape where TransUnion sits vs. competitors on marketing, and provide intelligence to Product/Solutions/Tech for required solutions to be developed for 2019+.
What you’ll bring
  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics or related fields.
  • Eight (8) or more years of management & leadership experience in Marketing and Analytics / Product Strategy and/or Business Development.
  • Solid experience in Marketing & Analytics and Product Strategy across Financial Services Industry is preferred, but this experience in other industries especially digital marketing is applicable also
  • Consulting experience will be a critical advantage.
  • Ability to effectively develop relationships, engage, advice and persuasively communicate with product, marketing and other functional areas heads in face-to-face scenarios demonstrating real-time insight, flexibility and sound judgment.
  • Strong analytical and insight-driven problem-solving skills with the ability to pursue consultative client engagements to drive business growth.
  • Independence, initiative, business acumen and excellent verbal, story-telling written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Business maturity, strong leadership and listening skills with the ability to analyze input from customers, partners, TransUnion associates, market and environmental trends, to identify and clearly articulate needs and opportunities for growth.
  • Program management with the ability to lead development of business pipeline and effectively coordinate internal resources and teams to maximize business conversion.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment is preferred, as collaborating across teams and functions is a critical task for this position.
  • Sound working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint with exceptional presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel at least 15% of the time and perform other duties as assigned.
